Must I pay all of my campaign pledge at once?
No. Your pledge may be paid in installments. We suggest a three-year payment plan, but we can work with you to make a plan that fits your needs.
May I give a gift other than cash?
Yes. Non-cash gifts, such as appreciated stocks, life insurance plans, and in-kind services, are welcomed. Our Library Director, Janet Eldred, can work with you on handling such gifts.
What is meant by permanent recognition?
All gifts of $1,000 and above will be recognized on a permanent donor board prominently placed at the entry of the new library. Gifts within all giving levels will be recognized in campaign and annual reports.
May I make a memorial gift?
Yes. We welcome memorial gifts and will work with you on appropriate recognition.
Do you having naming opportunities? For instance, may I name a room in honor of my family?
We have permanent naming opportunities at level of $25,000 and above. We can work with you to determine how your named gift will best fit our campaign and your needs.
May I direct how my money will be spent?
We encourage gifts that can be spent where needed most—the construction of the new library. We can dedicate a donor’s gift to a specific cause that matches the overall goal and needs of our campaign.
May I make a corporate gift?
Yes. Corporate gifts can be made directly to the campaign. In addition, you may be able to make a personal gift that would be matched by your company. If your company provides employee matching grants, you will need to obtain a form from its human resources department.
