The Library is offering a free program called “1,000 Books Before Kindergarten” to encourage parents to read a thousand books to their newborn, infant, or toddler before they start kindergarten. Book logs and electronic apps are available to help parents keep track. This self-paced program is free and is guided by the 1,000 Books Foundation. Visit the Library for more details.
