Technology Fair June 18

Grow with Google Technology Fair

Whether you’re a digital novice or a more experienced computer user looking to expand your knowledge of online and digital skills, join us at the Library on June 18 for an all-day Technology Fair from 10 am to 7:30 pm. We encourage anyone with questions about technology to attend — from laptops, tablets, and cell phones to web sites, productivity software, and job searching.

No questions are too small or too big, and one-on-one assistance will be provided to help attendees with a variety of topics, whether you’re looking to improve your tech skills and knowledge for your personal or professional life. Special focus will be given to teaching participants how to use the web and other software to write resumes, search for jobs on the web, and use software to improve their job skills.

All are welcome to drop in and attend this event throughout the day — no prior registration is required! This program is part of the Libraries Lead with Digital Skills initiative of the Public Library Association (PLA) and the American Library Association (ALA), and is sponsored by Google’s Grow with Google program.
