September is Library Card Sign-up Month!

September is Library Card Sign-up Month, when libraries partner with the American Library Association to spread the word about the importance of library cards and the many services public libraries have to offer.

Here at the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library, we provide a variety of services and programs for patrons of all ages. Our library exists to help form and transform lives, and we believe strongly in lifelong learning. From young children viewing their first books, to adults learning to use digital devices for the first time, we are here to serve our community in many ways.

We currently have 9,952 patrons with library cards at HAPL, and we’re hoping to get to 10,000 by the end of the month. We can do this! If you don’t already have a library card, what are you waiting for? Signing up for a library card is free and your card comes with lots of great benefits. If you already have a library card, help us spread the word about all the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library has to offer.

What’s cooler than being cool? Having a library card! Visit us at the library, or call us for more information. Hope to see you soon!
