This Saturday, June 29, from 10am-1pm, at Hollidaysburg Area Public Library, there will be an exciting program for all ages that blends space science and the arts.
A materials fee of $20 gets each participant professional instruction, all art supplies (that you get to keep), and a month-long showcasing of your art at the library.
Both grownups and school-aged children are welcome to participate. Recommended grades 4 and up.
The program is as follows:
- Enjoy snacks as we learn about deep space objects and stellar clusters from Dr. Lanika Ruzhitskaya, Director of Saint Francis University’s Science Outreach Center.
- Learn how to create beautiful paintings with art teacher Jennifer James Wagner.
- We proudly display your artwork at the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library!
