Established in 1942 from bery huble beginnings, the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library maintains a mission to Building a community devoted to lifelong learning by advancing functional, technological, career, financial, cultural, and civic literacy.

We have grown with the success of our community, members, and a dedication to be of service. Every day of every year, this is our promise.

Meet your library director

Kevin T. Yoder has been Library Director since December 2022. He grew up in Hollidaysburg, graduating from the Hollidaysburg Senior High School in 2017. He graduated from Penn State University (B.A, History), and the University of Clarion (Master, Library and Information Science). Kevin enjoys reading, hiking, outdoor activities, and being with friends and family, including his cat Rosie.

The Collection

Our collection includes over 40,000 items and includes a wide variety of medias.

A high quality selection of high-quality recreational reading listening materials, research and educational materials, and reference resources including internet access, child and adult programs for a lifetime of learning opportunities.
